STL STICK EXCHANGE

Recycle your outgrown hockey sticks.

Donate your used hockey sticks to the STL Stick Exchange!

FAQs:

Q:  What is the STL Stick Exchange?

A:  It is a program run by the 47 Fund to help recycle the hockey sticks that are outgrown by your kids, but still in good shape, so they can be used by the next generation of younger hockey players.

Q:  How does it work?

A:  It's Simple!  The STL Stick Exchange will accept your donation of composite (not wood) ice hockey stick(s) that are in good usable condition. Goalie sticks too!!

Then, the STL Stick Exchange will sell the sticks at a low price and use the funds for the 47 Fund.

Q: What is considered “good usable condition”?

A: Any composite stick that is straight (unbent to the human eye from all your kid’s dryland flexing), is not cracked, and has minor scrapes and scratches.

Q:  Why would I donate?

A:  Several reasons; (1) You can help a youth hockey player. (2) You can clean our your garage or basement. (3) Resurrect the life of a stick that’s been sad and all alone, having not felt the cold touch of ice in a while. (4) Save the environment by keeping materials out of landfills for just a little while longer.

Q:  How can I donate?

A:  We will receive your sticks at the St. Louis Rockets Off-Ice Facility, but you can also email us and we will be happy to make an arrangement at one of our home rinks.

Sticks will be available for sale at the Off-Ice facility!
